In a context where the energy transition is increasingly urgent, Contact Italia is proud to have been featured in a new publication on Forbes Italy. The prestigious magazine reported on our growth path and recent strategic synergy with SecsunApulian company specialising in switchboards for photovoltaic systems.
Two companies, a common vision
Contact Italia and Secsun are two companies born from a long family tradition in plant engineering and today led by fourth-generation entrepreneurs: Pietro Antonio Maggi, CEO of Contact Italia, and Dario Antonio Maggifounder of Secsun.
United by shared values and an intergenerational bond, the two companies today represent a concrete example of how technical expertise, innovation and industrial vision can create an ecosystem of cutting-edge solutions for the renewable energy sector.
An efficient and customised supply chain
The collaboration between Contact Italia and Secsun stems from a natural convergence, rather than a market transaction. The objective is clear: create a highly efficient supply chainwhich can offer scalable and customisable solutions that respond quickly to customers' needs in the photovoltaic sector.
Thanks to this synergy, it will be possible to integrate assembly structures and switchboards into a single, modular, intelligent and entirely designed offer to optimise time, space and performance.
Growth and concrete investments
Contact Italia has already made an important growth leap, increasing its turnover from EUR 4 million to EUR 42 million in just two years, with a solid international expansion strategy.
Secsun, for its part, plans to open a new plant in Bariwhich will flank the historical headquarters in Altamura. It will be entirely dedicated to design, production and logistics, with a focus on automation and artificial intelligence.
The company also plans to achieve a turnover of 15 million euro and to consolidate its presence in Italy and Europe, with negotiations already underway with distributors in France, Spain, Romania and the Czech Republic.
Energy designed around people
What makes this partnership unique is the ability to innovate without losing sight of the human element. Both companies constantly invest in research, digitisation and human capitalwhile maintaining a strong focus on the values that founded them.
As Pietro Antonio Maggi told Forbes:
"We are not just talking about industrial production, but about a new way of thinking about energy: connected, accessible, sustainable and built around people."
