In the beating heart of Key Energy 2025, the leading trade fair for renewable energy and energy efficiency, Contact Italia presented itself with enthusiasm and strategic vision. During the visit to the stand, Market Total collected the impressions of Andrea Da Re, Commercial Director of the company, who shared the results of the event and the team's experience.
A record stand and an ever-expanding offer
Contact Italia exhibited at Key Energy with a 500 square metre stand, symbol of constant growth and the desire to innovate.
“Every year we grow a little bit more,’ explains Da Re. ”We have brought new solutions and today we offer a complete portfolio for any type of photovoltaic system.“
The main novelties concern:
- Mounting systems for roofs and facades, with innovative solutions for the photovoltaic facades;
- Ground Structures, both fixed what tracker;
- Entry-level shelters and ballasts, through the acquisition of GB Solar, which officially joined the group at the end of 2024.
“We decided to invest a lot in this fair - both financially and in terms of people,” Da Re adds. “We are here with about 50 members of staff, and the response from the public has been outstanding.”
The solar market: more mature growth
Speaking about the sector's performance, Da Re offers a lucid and realistic analysis:
“We are coming from very positive years for PV. 2024 saw a downsizing of 40%, but mainly due to price deflation. However, it remains a growing market, with a positive outlook for the next 3-4 years.”
The outlook, therefore, remains encouraging: moderate but steady growth in a more competitive and mature environment.
From Apulia to the North: a model of Italian excellence
One theme touched on with pride is that of the company's Apulian origins, which has also managed to gain a prominent position in northern Italy, the heart of the national energy market.
“We are proud to represent an excellence from the South that has been able to establish itself at a national level,” underlines Da Re. “Over the years, Contact Italia has demonstrated a very strong capacity for innovation and great attention to the distribution chain.”
Investments in the sales network and opening up abroad
Looking to the future, the company focuses on two strategic directions:
- Strengthening the presence in Italy, with a focus on the North, expanding the network of business partners and direct personnel;
- Expanding business abroad, facing a “challenging game but full of opportunities”.
“For us, distribution remains the channel of choice and the multiplier of opportunities,” Da Re concludes. “We will continue to invest in people and relationships: they are the real strength of our business.”
Conclusion
Between enthusiasm and concreteness, Contact Italia confirms its leading position in the photovoltaic market.
With a clear strategy, an expanding network and a growing technology portfolio, the company looks to 2025 with the confidence of someone who builds - day after day - a sustainable, Italian energy future.
