Job description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for management control activities, contributing to economic and financial planning, monitoring company performance and completing the corporate management control system. They will collaborate with various departments to ensure the accuracy of management information, support management decision-making processes and develop advanced reporting and analysis models.

Job Description

• Activities and role responsibilities
  
  Development and implementation of the management control system
• Active participation in the consolidation and evolution of the management control system
• Development and maintenance of advanced analysis, budgeting and management reporting models
• Collaboration with business functions and IT to optimise information flows, management processes and ERP integration
  
  Planning and budgeting
• Preparation of the annual budget in collaboration with the various company functions
• Preparation of periodic forecasts
• Support with the definition of the industrial plan and multi-year business plans
  
  Economic and financial reporting and analysis
• Preparation of periodic reports for Management with detailed analysis of costs, revenues, margins and KPIs
• Variance analysis between actuals, budget and forecast, highlighting the causes
• Monitoring of economic and financial indicators
  
  Cost accounting and cost control
• Definition and updating of cost centres and profit centres
• Allocation of direct and indirect costs to responsibility centres
• Cost analysis by nature, function and business drivers
  
  Margin analysis
• Calculation of marginality by product, line, customer, project or distribution channel
• Economic assessments in support of pricing, commercial offers and business cases
  
  Support with month-end closing and financial statements
• Collaboration with the accounting department for the monthly close and the preparation of management data
• Reconciliation between management and statutory financial data
  
  Tools and process improvement
• Updating and maintenance of reporting and budgeting models
• Collaboration with IT to improve control systems
• Proposal of solutions for process optimisation and cost containment

Requirements, technical knowledge and skills required:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with proven experience in creating complex management control models, data analysis, managerial reporting and task automation.
• Skills in coordination and support activities for management control; investment planning and programming; conducting internal and external audits; information architecture planning
• Familiarity with management software (Knowledge of Passepartout software will be considered a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of the English Language
• Degree in Economics/Finance, Management Engineering or related disciplines
• Proven experience in similar roles
• Experience with ERP systems
• Analytical skills, autonomy and a commitment to continuous improvement

Technical and professional skills:

• 3D mechanical design with SolidWorks (modelling, technical drawings, complex assemblies).
• Experience in FEM simulations for structural verification and design optimisation.
• Use of PDM for the management and sharing of design data.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD for technical 2D drawings.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel for data analysis, calculations, and reporting.
• Experience with Mexal for business and technical management.
• Experience in the use and configuration of computers and networks

Transferable skills and competencies:

• AI professional experience.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering and structural/plant design.
• Ability to work both independently and in a technical team.
