The Agrifarm Conterra engine guarantees high torque transmission and an IP65 protection rating, ideal for harsh environments.
Self-powered by a dedicated photovoltaic module, it ensures a tracking accuracy of 0.1° and is designed to operate in a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C, making it reliable even in extreme environmental conditions.
The control logic, installed directly on the tracker, communicates with the ZigBee IEEE 802.15.4 protocol with the controller, which includes wind, snow and other customisable sensors.
The Agrifarm Conterra control logic allows for backtracking using the geolocation of each individual tracker panel. This system optimises the position of the solar panels, improving tracking efficiency and ensuring precise alignment with the sun's position to maximise energy production.
The bearings of the Agrifarm Conterra allow the rotation of the beam that supports the photovoltaic modules. Made from a glass-matrix polymer plastic material, these bearings are designed and tested by Contact Italia.
They are easy to install and self-lubricating, ensuring smooth operation and minimising the need for maintenance.
