The GB10-3CT system is a 75 kg support ballast, with 10° inclination, made in fibre-reinforced concrete mix with B450C steel reinforcement, designed for the attachment of photovoltaic systems on flat roofs. The combination of mass, geometry e mechanical characteristics of the material guarantees a high stability of the mounting system, effectively counteracting the wind actions and limiting the phenomena of sliding and lifting of the modules.
I ballasted GB systems of Contact Italia are developed for optimise installation operations thanks to a functional and integrated geometry, also designed for the’packaging optimisation. The system provides pre-drilled holes for the installation of accessories without the need to drill holes in the article, threaded bushings prepared for the attachment of clamps and accessories. The presence of a groove at base facilitates handling on the roof. All these features contribute to reduce installation time and overall installation costs compared to traditional ballasted systems.
The system is suitable for installations where durability and reliability, also in harsh environmental conditions. The correct dimensioning of ballasted systems must be defined according to the installation conditions, of the wind zone, of the’orography of the territory, of the’height of the building and the stability checks required by the technical regulations in force at the place of installation, in order to ensure the structural safety and the photovoltaic system performance.
La Ballast GB10-3CT can be used in sail configurations with 10° inclination, in horizontal arrangement of modules, preceded by ballast GB10-2CT, ensuring the structural continuity of the system and the configuration stability.
The complete sail system configuration provides for a maximum of 3 rows, consisting in sequence of ballasts GB10-1CT–GB10-2CT – GB10-3CT; within that configuration, the ballast GB10-3CT constitutes the third row of the system.
